COST - New Anapurna M2050i

Any clue what a new Anapurna 2050i is going for $?

We are looking at purchasing an Anapurna M2 used for about $39,000. It looks and runs GREAT! I am wondering if the additional speed (it says up to 101 m2 in Draft mode...if that even is quality at all I have no clue) is worth spending the additional $.

My prints are currently coming off of a Jeti 1224, and the FASTEST mode on the M2 is better quality then what I pick up off the Jeti. So I am curious as to whether DRAFT MODE on the 2050i would be a similar situation?

I am not looking to purchase simply because of speed, as I think thats kind of silly. Quality is my #1 concern, the speed is second. Question is: Is the additional speed still quality prints?

Any help?

We have the new 2500i on order, it's set to be installed this month.
The cost is right at $200,000 & Agfa throws in allot of extras that other
printer suppliers we bought from in the past didn't.
One of the best features of this printer is that the heads are setup so that you can print color-white-color
all in the same pass, so when you print roll to roll back-lit you don't have to worry about registration.

After the printer is installed and I have had time to play with it I will leave additional feedback.

Also, I did have a chance to check out a Anapurma M2050 (not the i) and the
print the made at 4 pass was very impressive. 2 pass was the lowest/fastest setting
but I didn't see that. We are also using the old Gandi Jeti printers, and 24 pass on the Gandi
can't touch the Anapurma's 4 pass!
