cut Vinyl on an awning

Hi Guys!

I will try to make this super short.
I have a client that wants their logo on an awning, as per the landlord, we can't paint the awning without approval or paying for a new one, client just want to add a logo in vinyl, seems that someone told them it was possible with no issues, I explain the situation and how it could fail in a week or in a year, they are willing to take the risk so my question is, what kind of vinyl should I use for this, IJ35 if print, 651 if only cut? what should I use for preparing the vinyl and the surface

Thanks!

Dac-tac is what we used to use. I don't know the modern day term for it. Lasts for years.

Is it going on the skirt or the top ??

Is the awning scrim vinyl or some type of fabric like Sunbrella? If it's the latter I don't think vinyl will stick to it.
