Decal Material for Lacrosse & Hockey Helmets

i do all my local baseball helmet decals with carwrap vinyl.
currently grimco wrapcast is my fav, which is basically rebranded Arlon DPF6000

Polar Grip from Drytac works well if they are just that - decals. If you are 'wrapping' the helmet then stick with a cast....but a simple mascot logo etc is just fine with Polar Grip laminated with InterLam Pro Gloss laminate.

We use General Formulations 201 HTAP (hi-tac) vinyl w/ 3M 8418G gloss laminate for decals like that, and most of our decals for that matter.

In this case the client is wrapping goalie masks. I did forewarn our customer that all we had was Arlon SLX+ and 3170 laminate which he tried as he was in a real bind. He felt it did not have adequate initial tack and was difficult to work with.

I have another option for him to try to get him through but I'll definitely look into these suggestions.
