Need Help Does anyone know how to remove this door handle?

Hi
I am wrapping a door and I would like to remove the door handle but it's impossible. It is not but I don't know how to do it. Anyone out there that can tell me?

No it's not I thought so too but no it's just a hole.

Gonna attempt to describe this so bear with me. Will likely be wrong..

looks like the handles are screwed in then have a cover as the circular bit doesn’t look perfectly flush with the door. If you can get a screwdriver etc into that gap, it might pop out and give you access to the screws?

Once you get the cover off it should look exactly the same as the one above.

If you know a door installer , they should have some extras.
Find a schlage dealer, home depot or lowes maybe.
Don`t think I have any left anymore.
I`m a retired carpenter after 40 years, have worked for a couple of door companies in the past.

It's called a spanner wrench. They're pricey on eBay, but perhaps a local locksmith can be of assistance.
