Double pass setting?

I'll admit it - I'm dense. Where do you set versaworks to do a double pass when printing backlits?

How would this work with printing on clear laminate? Would it make the colors opaque or still transparent?

job settings>printer controls>general>use custom settings>overprint (2times)

Two ways. You can check the Overprint option, or go to cut control and check return to origin and then reprint over the original (works best if these are smaller size prints, but this works great! Try it.
