Edge pixils out

We've sent ours back about a year & a half ago to get the pixils fixed. Now we've got another one out. Other than sending it back to gerber, any suggestions? Luckily it falls about 10.5" on the printed area.

Got rid of mine when a pixel blew....

I just went through something similar. Edge only printed 10.5'' after replacing cpu board, data link cable. That didn't work. at that point it's probably the worst thing that could happen to a thermal printer. The printhead. Getting it fixed would be a downpayment on a large format printer. Wound up sending it to Gerber where they referbished it replacing a whole list of parts. I'ts almost like new again 4,500.00 later

A good head cleaning is about the only thing you can do without sending it in.
Print Head replacements aren't cheap, what model is it?

Yes, we clean it often.
We just had it fixed but missed the warrenty.
Bummer.
I'd love to get rid of it, but I don't see that happening anytime soon.
