Epson S80-600 Printing Issue

Hello - I'm experiencing an issue with our Epson SC S80600 printer, where parts of the dark areas of the print are affected. See attached photo. I have done auto head maintenance and manual head cleaning, but it doesn't seem to fix the issue.

To me, thats in the artwork and the rip is not interpretting it properly and pushing out an odd shade. Have you tried it on other profiles? What rip are you using?

Rip is Onyx Thrive. I've printed it before with no issue. In the photo, that spot is almost black, so I don't think it's in the artwork. It is doing the same thing in other images.

It’s all about your print!
That is an out of gamut color it is trying to produce.
Something has changed in your rip or profile if you've been able to print it before.
Make sure your rendering intent is on perceptual and your profile matches the embedded profile.

I double checked, and rendering is still set on perceptual. Nothing has changed that I can see. Do I need to update my RIP software, possibly? I quit all computers and software, shut everything down, and restarted them all, and I am still having the same issues.

don't attach too much importance to a nozzle check
grizzly mentioning out of gamut color suggests to me that you need to do more advanced test prints from service menu
not much epson experience since the days of the stylus pro's (7400, 9600, 9880, 3880 etc)
so probably using the wrong terminology but you can have a perfectly good nozzle check, but, have a head that can not produce it's full range of colors
