fading on large prints on SJ745

We're running into a fading issue on large prints...see attached pic. The first panel (the one on the far left) is noticeably darker than the last (far right). The panels were all printed from the same file/job at the same time and on the same roll of media. Specifics....VersaWorks, std quality w/ pass correction, Density Control Only, Orajet 3164M using Orajet's profile. The overall size of the print is 18' x 14' and takes several hours to print at those settings. It seems that the blank ink flow reduces over the course of the print? Any thoughts/suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

No lamination. We're 99% sure they came off the printer like that...we kicked off of the job late one evening, came in the next day and took the print off the take up, let it sit a couple of days and then trimmed.

Possibilities that come to mind are ink starvation, or a gradual change in temperature and humidity. Do you have a timer type thermostat that might change the ac after hours?

We have an old school thermostat so it's set at the same temp all day/night long. I'm inclined to think that it's ink starvation too...I just don't know enough about the internals to know what parts need looking at/replacing.
