Go Bills!
Last week a belt snapped on my HP 315.
Not a big deal, I've replaced them twice before.
Got new belt, it came early, got it about 4 days before I was expecting it, on a Friday afternoon.
Took about an hour to get in installed and working.
Test printed a file I knew would tell me if it was 100%, print looked good.
Was gonna call it a day and take off early being Friday and resurrecting the old printer, felt like a successful day.
Decided to put the last cover on, the side where the ink carts are.
Carefully slide it on, about 1/2 inch more to go and I caught the black ink line as I snapped the cover into place just to see ink pouring outta the bottom of the cover.
Ripped off cover and grabbed line that was spewing ink and forced it back where it unplugged. Ink was everywhere.
Tried printing something and the ink was bleeding out the line, the wet ink would not let it stay put.
Cleaned it up with Q tips until it looked dry, then plastered it with clear silicone.
Came in this morning with about 1% faith it would work. I printed about 60 feet with no issues, could not believe it worked.
