firewire won't come up in PM

I lost a hard drive Now setting up JV3 from Scratch Cant get
the 1394 firewire to come up in Production Manager
This was a issue once before but tech that we used then
is no longer available any help would be greatly appreciated

do you have original Mimaki CD's ... with drivers?

granted the following post is a non techy sign guy, going from 3 or 4 year old memory only... but I have this fuzzy memory like the fork in the road where it seemed i needed to select firewire and i couldn't.... turned out to be some poorly designed interface & if i try to proceed further in the process, without thinking i'm stuck... then it became available to resolve that choice later...

but of course i could be thinking of something else...

have the drivers just can't seem to get to show up in the pull down
in Production Manager when i install the printer
I know its some simple little step but I am about to pull my hair out and
don t have it to spare these days

Are there settings in the device manager to get this to come up in
Flexi Production Manager

typically once you've installed the FW driver, you go to device manager and insure that the mimaki fw driver is being recognized. If there's a yellow exclamation point, then there's an issue, troubleshoot to fix.
