Flexi Help!!

Flexisign 10,Allen-Datagraph 848
Jumping into Flexisign from Casmate 6.52 :p 2020-07-29.png ,so this seems all new to me.

The top art was imported straight from an Illustrator file no manipulation, while the bottom one went through Pathfinder > Merge action in order to get that result.

My question is how can I do this in flexisign 10 and get the same results as the top one.

I've tried every EFFECTS > COMBINE combination to no avail and kind of stumped on what might be the answer.

You'll need to convert all the strokes to curves to start.

My Rules for AI to Flexi. Sorry for the continual echo everybody.

In Illustrator.
1. Convert all Strokes to outlines (paths)
2. Convert all Fonts to paths and have a list of all fonts used.
3. Remove layers tat will not be used.
4. Un Group Everything, and regroup words.
5. Save As. AI
6. Save As EPS 3 Yes thats right EPS 3, it is way down the list of versions.
(EPS 6 works well but not like 3)
Flexi.
1. Use the Import function in Flexi. It has its own coded instructions.
(Drag and drop works to, but not always)
2. Select everything.
3. Remove unwanted layers as shown in your image.
4. Remove excessive path points as within reason.
This is called noise and your Plotter is going to hit each and every point.

Hope this helps.
