Flexi stops sending info to Summa plotter randomly

I had this issue a few months ago and it lasted a few days, then everything was ok.... It is now back today. It seems to only happen on cut only jobs. The production manager stops at random points in the output and the Summa stops but I know it is not the Summa as it is not locked and I can freely move the head or use the control panel. Flexi shows the job at a certain percentage and that's it, nothing seems to get it to continue sending info. It has happened about 8 times already today and I called Flexi and they suggest I move up to flexi 24 so we loaded it and now I'm cutting multiple copies of this log and once again at 12% it locked up. I have no idea how to deal with this or why it randomly shows up months after the first time it happened. Any ideas?

Flexi normally works fine. They support only trained to sell. Check cutter's connection.

Connection is fine, I just ran 3 more sets and no stopping. Drives me crazy...Thankfully it never does it on Print cut jobs.

Try to use another interface. Try Ethernet, if using USB or vice versa.

How long is the cable you’re using to connect?

If it’s 10+ feet that’s probably your issue

We have had a similar problem and ended up uninstalling the Summa from Flexi and then re-installing it. That fixed our issues.
