FlexiPro 7.6v2- round corner tool?

I have struggled with this for years- I realize that it works only to the point
of there not being a node too close to any corner. Are there any other
tips for using this tool that I am missing. Thanks Gene

You can create a square box and then select to have rounded corners then select the radius, or you can create your shape and the go to Arrange:Convert to Outlines and then use the round corner node editing tool and select the diameter, this way is tedious in my opinion but works just the same. I prefer to use the first method...just my two cents.

Be sure to have your objects converted to curves first or it will not work.

Most often I am trying to round the corners on a complex contour cut- so
that it will cut more easily and look better. The problem is that it will round
corners only to the first node on any point. If the nodes on the pict are
visible... the round corner tool will only round .01 in this case- pretty much
useless. If I want to round the sharp corners I have to use one of the
optimise curves tools and do each individually- and each corner will be a different radius. I would like to set the round corner tool to a uniform radius
and be able to click on 'sharp' nodes and get the same radius each time.
I hope someone can understand what I am blubbering about- anyone?
