We run an older version of casmate for our cut vinyl. It seems periodically we loose fonts. Yet in the computers fonts folder, its there. Anyone else have this experience?

if it only has happened recently, its probably the windows update screwed fonts thing.
if it has always happened, could be newer font filetypes not compatible with casmate

One font in question is Arial. The whole set is gone. Arial black, regular, rounder, italics, etc.... Was there before, and I havent updated anything. Im missing about 15 font styles that im aware of. Im stumped....

removed the update, turned off windows update even did sysytem restore and there still missing?
Casmate has a limit on how many fonts you can view at 1 time. (or it may be a windows thing... I can't remember)
Use the font installation program that came with casmate and remove some of the fonts you never use. Restart casmate and you should be able to see them.
It also may be that the fonts in that group (ariel) may not be enabled. Again, you can access it from the font installation
