You're on glue. Guess the thousand of new cases every day in the US are just made up? Ignorant people like you are the reason it's so out of hand.

And if you had a brain that functions normally you would be able to comprehend that the number of cases is meaningless when there are cheap and effective treatments readily available for those who are not ignorant about their existence.
Think about it, if you muster a moment of sanity. The thousands of news case are being produced by greater numbers of people being tested. What they don't tell you on the idiot box you watch for hours every day is that the vast majority of those people never had any symptoms or the symptoms were so slight they never realized they had that virus. I am one of them and I personally know at least six other people who had the same experience. I would recommend getting your information from more reliable sources so you don't end up looking like an idiot.

I don't have or watch cable, and didn't bother reading your rant to be honest.. Good luck to you and your theories.

Who is the idiot?

How's about the guy who accuses others of watching the "idiot box" and then posts videos off of said idiot box.

There is no cure ... And your reasoning is exactly why Texas has the high numbers of infected it has.

You just want to believe in a silver bullet.

Keep spreading your misinformation!
Bravo Poncho! :clapping:

A computer is not an idiot box, it is the most powerful research tool on the planet for people who are not too lazy to make use of it. Yes, technically there is no "cure", only your own body's immune system can defeat a virus, but these discoveries of a few commonly available and relatively safe drugs have been extremely effective in the process of helping people cure themselves.
Only morons believe bureaucrats and the fake news media. I'll believe the doctors own testimony using the stuff that helps their patients before I'll believe anything from those liars.
Of course there are high rates of positive tests. That is because they are doing many more tests and this thing actually started as far back as last October. Many more people were exposed and didn't even know it because they didn't get sick or just mildly sick. As the testing increases the number of positive "cases" rises but that does not reflect the number of people who actually got sick or are sick. I realize you may not have the level of intelligence to understand these concepts. But even with your limited mental capacity you should be able to recognize that success rates of 95 to 100 percent using these drugs to "cure" Covid patients is something worth considering. If you want to die you go right ahead and refuse the Budesonide and the HCQ treatments and let them hook you up to a ventilator. Good luck with that! My best friend's wife is am ER nurse, and they call the ventilators the kiss of death. The truth eventually comes out and you'll be able to count yourself among those who feel foolish for having been deceived once again.

Yes, I know that is why I wanted to let people know they don't need to be afraid anymore and that as soon as doctors learn about these new treatment the crisis will be over and masks will not be needed. I don't know what more proof I can provide. The doctor in the reports is a highly respected physician and on the Texas Taskforce. His credentials are unimpeachable and when he shared his discovery with colleagues at a nearby hospital they were able to empty the ICU of all their COVID patients. That's good enough for me. I don't need to get hit up beside the head with a 2x4 to figure it out. The people I know are calling their GP doctors and making arrangements to have these drugs available in case they get the virus and want to stay out of the hospital. I know that the people I care about are protected and everyone else who refuses to believe can go commit suicide for all I care. So I am done trying to help people who don't want to be helped.

Bartlett, Richard Paul, M.D., Odessa, TX, Lic. [HASHTAG]#J1865[/HASHTAG] On 12-12-03, the Board and Dr. Bartlett entered into a Mediated Agreed Order for one year requiring Dr. Bartlett to provide selected patient records to be reviewed by a Board-approved monitor. The monitor shall provide a report that documents any perceived deficiencies and recommendations to improve Dr. Bartlett's practice of medicine. Dr. Bartlett is required to take and pass the Special Purpose Examination for general medical knowledge within one year. The allegations were based upon Dr. Bartlett's inappropriate treatment of patients with intravenous antibiotics and other medications.

You are full of $hit.

How do people "calling their GP doctors and making arrangements to have these drugs available in case they get the virus"?

You just call your doctor and ask them to get some pills ready?

Oh wow, we had to go back 17 years to find a slap on the hand from "allegations" that were never proven. I'd like to see your history if I can find something you were accused of, Mr Perfect.
You are the one full of $hit and I wouldn't expect anything less from a $ocialist.

Computers are a powerful tool, for idiots to get their thoughts out there.

Yes, if you have a doctor you know well, you ask if he would be so kind as to prescribe a drug you heard about that would help you. You let him look at the results you learned about and see what he says. Remember these drug are already at your local drug store being prescribed for other illnesses. All you need is a prescription. If your doctor won't do it find one that will. Doctors can't know everything and one with an open mind will look into it and see there much to gain and little to loose.

Lots of passion and opinion in this thread on both sides, but anecdotal evidence is not fact. Unfortunately both liberal and conservative media gloss over, ignore or misrepresent the facts to fit their bias. Personally, I spend a fair amount of time fact checking because It's getting to the point where I'm skeptical of any media.

You might want to check the data on COVID deaths, comorbidity involved at https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/nvss/vsrr/covid_weekly/index.htm

Another interesting set of data at https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/nvss/vsrr/covid19/excess_deaths.htm shows overall death rate with excess deaths ('normal death rate versus death rate with COVID involved)

So are we well below average deaths now? If so, maybe the covid accelerated those towards the end of life and now that they have passed, the deaths are lower.

Read further in and they state deaths reported lag by about 2 weeks. But interesting isn't it? Total deaths, all causes are down, but that might spike factoring the 2 week lag. If you look at comorbidity, 6% of total COVID deaths are COVID-only as cause of death. Of the deaths with comorbidity, on average there were 2.6 other comorbidity factors (Age plus potentially fatal health issues) involved. So is it really accurate to say COVID 19 has killed 130,000 in US? Conversely, is it accurate to say it's not a serious public health issue? Just my opinion among millions, but for me neither is an accurate statement supported by fact.

I catch your drift, but does it really matter if you can solely blame covid for the deaths or if it's a combination of covid and preexisting medical conditions? I think too many people are concerned over the numbers and how they are possibly being manipulated.

Either way, that many people wouldn't be dying if it wasn't around. I hope we can all agree on that at least.

I really hope things start to improve down there for you guys and that everyone is safe.

Thanks - definitely agree on that. The problem with not trusting the interpretation of the facts is that we are trying to balance the need for a healthy economy and mental and social stability, with steps to fight the effects of the virus. So getting back to business - IMHO another shutdown would create it's own set of problems worse then the pandemic.

Agreed. As much as a shut down may have been a good idea initially to help slow the spread, the economy is going to take years to bounce back from this.
We have been very fortunate here (knock on wood) and haven't had any new reported cases in almost 2 weeks, in a city with almost 800,000 people.
People around here took it really seriously and it seems to have worked. I feel badly for all the companies that have been struggling and have had to shut their doors, but our government did what it had to, to try to limit the spread.
Here's to hoping that things start to turn around everywhere else.
