Basically lists out a ton of freeware software for designing. I personally have a laptop that has the basics (gimp, inkscape, blender, bryce & sketchup) but there are a few like spray vector that I didn't know about.
Been playing with spray vector, wish I knew about this one about a month ago on a job. It's all math based vector building (sin curves, random generation, etc) could have it's uses in the future to save some time.
dogwaffle might be added to my design system if it works the way it looks like it does (along with corel painter, photoshop and artrage)
I still think inkscape has the best vector trace out there ... use it for all my ink illustrations and it has yet to get those square jaggies that illustrator is fond of ... and doesn't completely kill it with excessive points.
and the font ones I'm going to look into for atleast being able to paruse without spending lots of time looking at them one by one.
Just thought I'd share in case someone is a software junky like me and doesn't mind loading one extra program to do what another piece of software can't do efficiently.
