Frosted and printable

Does anyone know where to purchase a material like this? It is about .020 thick, frosted and flexible. Used for inserts in changeable copy frames like orbus provides. The sample I have has been printed on directly. None of my local vendors have anything like it, maybe I'm describing it wrong. Any help is appreciated.

I'm not sure if this is what it is but Rowmark has a 1/32" thick matte clear ADA plastic that kind of looks like that. Might have been printed on a flatbed or even screen printed.

It looks like the face that comes with the frames was printed on directly, no?

It is direct print...but aside from that, I got nothing. Lol customer brought it to me.

I had a customer bring me the same type of thing this week but with employee names. I did find some 10mil clear matte rigid vinyl from GPA but it's spec'd to run on the Indigo. They are not sure if it will run on my Ricoh 7100 so trying to get a sample to try out.

Interesting....sounds like it might work, assuming it can take the ink. I can see what the indigo uses...I know it's not apples to apples, but fingers crossed.

Thanks for all the input! I think I found it from Piedmont Plastics. .015 velvet matte polycarbonate.

This is what I was thinking. It looks like direct printed polypropylene. We've done this before and I would never do it again.
