I have been doing a logo supplied by a customer for years on my edge
( running another $400 worth of Hardhat decals now ) and it
got me to wondering how I could extract the Gerber halftone for use
on my VP540. This halftone prints on light gold 220 and sometimes I have
to scale it way up- and I would like to be able to print black on lt gold on
the inkjet. If I export as an .ai, eps, plt file there are no halftone dots.
Does anyone know how to do it. It is a gerbertone fine halftone so I can't
recreate it in photoshop easily. Thanks Gene
