GR2-640 AAS detect fail

hello,
I have a Roland gr2-640 I've never used it bc I wasn't shown how it works when it was setup. i have Versaworks, so i rip the file and click print to get it to cut, then it trys to find the crop mark but just says "AAS DETECT FAIL" after it moves back n forth. so idk if im setting up the crop marks wrong, or am i supposed to send the job to cutstudio then from there to the cutter? its the same file i used to get the print job printed, i just grabbed the job and brought to the cutter section.

shouldn't you simply google & watch a couple youtube videos?

when i bought my big cnc a few years ago, i watched a 90 minute video and went step by step & made a square and a circle and routed them, and took out a tape measure and adjusted so the size was correct...

this is what everyone has to do
