Graphtec FC2100-120 problem............

when I cut small lettering, 1" and below, the corners are rounded......
tried a new blade holder...my settings are correct.......
do I have a loose head????? errrrrrrrrrr, plotter head????

Could be loose cutter head or even play in the motors or gears... Email Graphtec... They always like to hear about their old cutters still out in the work place and are usually very quick to assist.

Have you checked the offset compensation? Accessible from the machine's menu.

I have a Graphtec FC2100-50. It stores 3 or 4 settings in it's memory to make it easier to switch between cutting heads or plotter pen. Check and make sure it didn't get set to one of them with zero offset.
