I called one of my vendors earlier this morning and was giving the girl my list of needs for next week. So many .063 blanks, some 4x10 double sided acm blanks and then that I needed 3 pcs. cut 30" x 48" of blue ACM in 6mm. She just called me back and said, we don't have enough blue in stock. We'll hafta get another piece in. Huh ?? Do you have any blue in stock ?? Yep, one 4x8. So what's the problem ?? Well, I did the mockup on our special program and it says I can get the first two out of the first sheet and the third one outta the second sheet. Wha.....?? I said, Sofie, think about this. If a panel is 96" long and 48" wide, how many can you get outta one sheet ?? Two. Wait, 30' goes into 96" how many times ?? Three. And if the panel is 48" wide...... how many can you get outta that sheet ?? Two.

A little background. Her dad runs the place. They hired her about 2 years ago to help take the load off the other people from that covid sh!t and she stayed on. She really does a good job, but for some reason, I couldn't get through to her on this one. SO, I said to her, go to your dad and tell him the measurements and I bet without that software peice ash!t, he'll answer ya in two seconds. I asked her to do that and she should let me know how long he laughs.
