Grommets Suck

Patented Lind SignSpring is making Grommets Obsolete!

We developed SignSpring for billboards ranging from hi-rise freeway bulletins to multi-story urban wallscapes. In all cases, our billboards are exposed to significant wind and weather. The system has survived severe windstorms, a tornado, and even Hurricane Sandy. In over 5 years of extensive usage, we have never had a pull-through. From the smallest P-O-P displays to the largest banners and billboards, SignSpring has performed flawlessly.
Like a trampoline, SignSpring generates continuous spring tension that is distributed evenly around the perimeter of the fabric graphic. The pressure is even and infinite, providing a tight, wrinkle-free, sag-free appearance whether your display period is 5 weeks or 5 years. Engineered spring and hook technology provides a durable, flawless surface with easy change-outs that enable sign companies to establish lucrative rotation contracts with clients.
BannerSpring, PosterSpring and BannerFrame provide exceptional, long term performance with quick installations and easy change-outs. There is no simpler or better technique for fabric graphic installation and we are excited to share it with the entire Outdoor Advertising and Sign Graphics Industries.

Think SignSpring for your next project. Provide us details and a picture of your next installation. We can provide very complete ideas and solutions in minutes.

Because poking holes with no reinforcement on the fabric is a good idea? Even trampolines have sewn in hoops for the springs... or even grommets. Sorry, not buying the idea that a spring shoved through the fabric will last. A spring through a grommet... yes.

What he said. Maybe for smaller banner is okay, but for bigger ones... don't know don' know...

This x1000. Maybe through something solid, no doubt. I'm sure these work fine on billboards.

A fabric banner that's literally sailing in the breeze? Pretty sure just poking a hole in it would rip it to shreds sooner rather than later.

The spring itself is a fine idea. I would feel safe with a grommet, then the spring.

Either way, you have to protect the loosened threads of the material. That's what the grommet is for, not to secure the banner.

So, while trampolines use springs every few inches or so with sewn in 'D' clamps into nylon webbing with about 7 or 8 lines of stitches for extra precaution and a welded clip on the other side..... you are comparing your set up to that ??

Yep, that's the ticket.

We have over 1,300 billboards that use this system everyday. Everything from 6'x6' to 20'x60' bulletins.

We have many of our systems all over the Globe. Below you will see a 120'x40' ocean front wallscape in Guam. This project was posted nearly two years ago and the client hasn't had a problem.

We would be happy to talk to anyone about our system and how it works.

Seeing is Believing!

Don't you know, everyone here has an engineering degree these days?
