Halo Effect

We are seeing a strange gray halo effect on a particular file that I can't explain, and want to run it past the board.

On a pure vector file from Illustrator, with solid colors with no strokes, with only two colors, red (background) and black (foreground), we are seeing a grayish halo effect around the edges of the black (picture attached).

Printer: HP L26500
RIP: Onyx
Media: 3M IJ180cv3
Using a Custom-built media profile built for this media, printer, RIP combination. All other colors are fine. Any thoughts are welcomed...

No it is not evident in the Preflight/ Job Editor module.

Have you got Black Point Compensation turned on in the render intents?
