Having problem with Printing Mutoh VJ 1614!!

Hello Everyone,

I have two Mutoh printers 1604 and 1614 and I am using the Flexi for both with same profiles , but I have faded or blurry printed lines around the graphic art file while I am printing, I only have this issue with Mutoh VJ 1614, I recently replaced both encoder disc and encoder strip, as well I replaced the Print Head DX5, but still I am having this problem please see pictures if anybody knows how to solve please please help me out.

Check for fluff around the print head.
Even the smallest piece can create blurring. I have found the reinforcement weave in banner material to be a real problem.

Check that the head rank number is correct in both machines.
This sets the head up correctly and can cause discreprancies in the final print.

Also even though these two machines are virtually identical, I have found no two printers print exactly the same.

This is a really dumb question... Where do I find the head rank number? Is it on the box, top of the print-head assembly?

Is a little sticker in the black plastic on the head.
Check you are using correct color profile too and try sending a TIFF (on srgb) Try in unidirectional mode too to see if stills happen.
