Head leaving streaks

Can anyone please help me out. When I raise the print head it doesn't appear but when the print head is set to low it seems to always make a mark. It only started doing this recently. It's normal gloss vinyl sticker. Did a full clean, changed dampers, wipers etc. I adjusted the vacuum. Seems to still appear.

Do you see in your photo how the media is pushing up ?? You probably have some tension on the media wrongly calibrated.

Make sure you have enough slack rolled off the back, so it doesn't create unnecessary stress. Perhaps heat settings could have some effect, but not usually like that.

Your material is bubbling up and your head is striking the material. If I am reading your picture correctly, it looks like the last of the material is barely on the pinch roller, and in my experience can cause the material to bubble.

After a shit cut, you need to always move your media out and then basepoint it. It has to be around the bend of the heater for the lat flat. It’s that simple. Roland really needs to put the front media sensor around the bend of the dryer. If you’re familiar with ColorPainter printers, you could never print on them until the media is around the bend.
there’s a possibility that you also have some ink around somewhere on the bottom of the print carriage. Not necessarily on the heads, but to the left or right of them, which is causing the issue more widely seen when you’re a little head height.
you can also increase your vacuum and check your heater settings.

Could also be a crack in the plastic pinch roller holder, if it just started to do this recently.

As others have said, definitely head strike marks. You media isn't staying flat, so as the print heads travel over it they are scraping the media. (You'll want to make sure & do a cleaning after this happens, hopefully not very often) The media looks as if it's not flat & bulging upward. Your left pinch roller also looks too close to the edge of the media & needs to move in. Perhaps causing the media to skew as it travels thru. If you aren't using your media clamps, make sure to always use them. Make sure you are loading the media straight & square and that it's laying flat before hitting print.
