help, can't open these files...

I am trying to open files sent by a customer that are suppose to be vector files set up in Illy. he sent a couple of png's of the setting he used and I don't run the program so I'm not sure what is going on. when I try to open in Omega, which can open .ai or .eps files, all I get is a blank screen when I try to open the .eps and I get an "unknown file type" when I try the .ai

anything I need to tell the customer would be so helpful, thanks

I can't attach the .ai or .eps but if anyone with Illy would take a look at either file, I would be so happy!

have him change eps version to 3

If you still need help, I can open in Illy CS5 and convert to a PLT for you.
