Help Head Washing on S60600 Epson

I bought a 2 year old Epson S60600 and I put all new inks in it. I am getting some colors that are not coming back. It was unplugged for a couple months (like idiots!). I want to do a head wash but it says I have to buy new cleaning cartridges, but it came with a set of used and they are all have full or more? Any way around having to get new cleaning carts?

How can I tell if they're expired?

on some of the older "domber" models you were able to remove the button battery and reset the date.
not sure if you can do this after the machine has "decided" they are expired

i am not saying you can avoid buying new ones, but i would be looking to get get old ink out and cleaner in those lines and heads as soon as possible
you would need a syringe

solvent inkjet has the best ones.

or my favorite:

amazon delivers these the next day

i would manually pull the inks through and let the machine "soak" a while while you wait.
