Help with File Conversion

Locals Find!

Hi Guys I need some help I have a .pdf from a company that was made by another graphic artist. The file was made using a newer version of illustrator.

My problem is they didn't convert the fonts to outlines and the logo contains a font known as Avenir Roman which from my googling found out is a Adobe font. It should be included in newer versions. Can someone help me out by opening this file and converting this font to curves and saving it back to a .pdf and emailing it to me?

Try this trick first. Open the PDF in Acrobat, go to Document/Watermark/Add then type in a letter and hit apply. Next go to Advanced/Print Production/Flattener Preview and check the boxes Convert all text to outline, hit apply then OK. Finally, save file as an EPS and open in Illustrator and save as whatever final format you need. This has saved me on many many occasions.
