Hockey Rink logos under ice

Hi all.
I'm printing logos for my community hockey ice rink.
I'm printing on 8oz mesh banner.
One of the logos has dark green bleed.
I'm wondering if I need to keep some white around the logo?
Any advice is appreciated.

Thank you

I've never printed 8 oz mesh banner before. But mesh banner that I've ordered felt quite stiff. Does it curl? If you really are concerned, print a small piece, say 1'x4' where one end has a color bleed and the other is just white. Lay it on the ground and see.

I guess the problem is curl while it gets zamboni'd over? I'm wholly unfamiliar with ice rink mechanics, but it sounds interesting.

I think the curl would be an issue when they lay the graphic down. They position the graphic, hinge and then spray water each side under where the graphic will stay. Then the squeegie out the excess water, and spray over top of the graphic until it's set. (This is where I worry about curling on the edges) Then they flood the entire ice so the graphic is completely covered in ice.

Well, it sounds like if the test results in a curl, at least you can leave a white edge without concerns with it being visible... unless it's paneled I guess.
