I'm thinking if the green was full bleed, it may end up making the banner material curl a little bitWhat is your reasoning for this question? Why add extra material beyond what you want?
I think the curl would be an issue when they lay the graphic down. They position the graphic, hinge and then spray water each side under where the graphic will stay. Then the squeegie out the excess water, and spray over top of the graphic until it's set. (This is where I worry about curling on the edges) Then they flood the entire ice so the graphic is completely covered in ice.I guess the problem is curl while it gets zamboni'd over? I'm wholly unfamiliar with ice rink mechanics, but it sounds interesting.
Thank you!No need. As they lay the logos down, they mist them to freeze them in place. If you wanted, you could leave a 1" white margin but it should not be needed. Once they are laid down there is quite a bit of ice on top of them.
So you trimmed it right to the blue, and it didn't curl and laid down properly?I've done exactly that but with blue bleed for an arena in Stockholm, for the swedish second hockey league.
Never had a problem.
