how do print settings get saved?

I am just wondering when running a job through Flexi for print, how the settings get saved. I know they do get saved as I see them on some files when I open them at a later date. Today for instance I am running a file that I run probably once every few months and everytime I open it and send it out the settings are not how I printed it the last time and have to manually change it. So the question is if I send the job now for instance, when it is finished printing do I re-save the file to hold the last settings in print manager?

Yes, that's exactly what you do. That's why if you save a sign, go to print it, and then try to close the sign, it will ask you if you want to save it again even though you didn't make any changes to the design. Where if you save a sign, then just close it, it won't ask you to save the sign again. It's basically asking if you want to save the options you used to print.
