How to connect a new Roland Gx640 plotter to old Flexi 8.1

I have a new Roland Gx640 plotter that I need to connect to Flexi 8.1. Unfortunately the program is so old it doesn't recognize this new machine. Any suggestions?

I don't think you can. you need to use cut studio

Save as an eps in flexi the import into versaworks that came with the roland.
Only problem with this solution is if your cutter is not a roland, versaworks won't add the registration marks for other brand cutters.

The only thing Versaworks can do is work with files dragged from the printer. It even says on the que only dragged files can be placed here. They have to be ripped in the printer quest before I can drag them in.

Import into VW- rip it>drag into the cut que.
