How to UV Reverse Print on Thin Plexi, Self Adhesive?

I've seen companies like Jersey Jack Pinball advertise what they call RADCAL which looks like reverse UV printing on thin acrylic / plexi. Barrels of Fun pinball has a version of this as well, they said they have two suppliers for it.

I understand the reverse UV portion of this process, the thing I don't understand is how they're then making it self adhesive. Is it a laser cut double-sided tape of some kind? Curious if anyone here has experience with this. Thanks!

The owner of Barrels of Fun talks about it around the 30:30 mark in this video. He mentions a 3mil 3M adhesive, so that's perhaps the mounting film? He also says they apply mirroring - curious if anyone has any insight on that as well! My UV printer has an adhesive channel for applying leaf, I wonder if that's the same process?

They're just applying mounting adhesive to the back after they print it. There's a ton of different brands and products you can get. We use 3M 467 for a lot of things, just depends what you're doing. I thought at first he was saying that he mirrors the graphic to print subsurface, but it seems like they have applied something that looks like a mirror or chrome, not sure what that is, Maybe just chrome film of some sort to make the image pop?
