How would you make 600 of these?

I have a customer requesting a quantity of 600 pieces of gold (colored?) lettering applied to blocks of walnut.

The sample looks identical to Sign Gold Satin film, but thicker. The client says they are very thin aluminum painted with 23k gold paint. If so, they are incredibly thin. The "Since 1877" text is only about 1/8" tall.

We cut a sample from Sign Gold and it looks good, but it will be impossible for us to cut, weed and apply 600 of these perfectly in house.

Any suggestions?

Looking at the LaserBits site you provided the link to makes it very likely a laser cut product. It is not one of their films however. They offer a polished gold (too shiny) and a brushed gold (with brushed marks). This is neither. It is almost a dead match to Sign Gold Satin Surface film.

The part that makes this work is the film is applied before it is cut and weeded. I had trouble imagining the material being perfectly applied if it was laser cut and then transferred.

Any ideas on where to look for something like this? I thought of trophy shops but I have trouble seeing this quality level from the ones I know and use.

There is also another product at laserbits called laserlights, they have it in gold.
it is a 2-ply product but you can use it without getting to the other "ply"
All of the metallic products can be applied first without cutting and weeding.
Hope this helps
