HS 15 Problems

I bought an HS 15 off of ebay a couple years ago, just now getting around to hooking it up. When I power on, the blade holder carriage slams against the wall and the roller runs continuous, it does not go through the test mode. Any suggestions on what to look for sensor wise? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks - Brian

Did you resolve this? Has anyone experienced this? Just had the same problem. I'm guessing it's a dirty sensor, will check tomorrow but any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

As expected, a dirty sensor, quick clean and back to normal. Need to get one of those covers :)
