I think my computer ate mushrooms

I have no clue why the last week or 2 my laptop is saving the layered proof file in photoshop with the artwork like this...Surely I didn't just hit a button on my keyboard.
For some reason, once I add the artwork in the appropriate layer I get this result. See the image. Has anyone ever ran into this?!

Haven't seen it before but I've always heard about weird bugs like this with Adobe CS/CC on windows.

Not to add insult to injury but looks like my computer got a hold of much better quality shrooms
