ink cartridges not showing up

I have a Agfa grand sherpa which is basically a mutoh rockhopper II. We shipped it freight with the cartridges in the machine. When we got it here not it will only read that there is 2 magenta cartridges in the machine. I have tried 2 other sets of cartridges in the machine and still the same issue. Anyone have any advice. I have no clue what else to try.

Try new cards, otherwise it is possible that the cartridge holders/sensors may have been damaged during shipping.

How far did it travel?

We did try new chips. It traveled from Virginia to Florida with a freight company. Right now it is set up as a 4 color machine and takes 2 cartridges of each color. The magenta's are both in the middle slots and it reads those just no other slots.
