Installing new flex faces on very old tension frame, anyone familiar with this type?

It's a 6'x12' frame. The banner gets an extrusion attached to it with window screen spline, the extrusion goes into a channel, and then screws are driven into holes in the outer frame, pushing the extrusion down and thus tightening the face.
Does anybody have any tips or tricks, or know the name of this type of system so I can search for a step-by-step or something? I've got the spline and a spline wheel.

Here is a step by step..

Step 1... Close the cabinet back up.
Step 2... Stow the boom and get back into the truck
Step 3... Hit the gas and don't look back.

I dealt with a similar project recently that was initially described to me by the customer as a single piece polycarb panel, but when I finally did a site visit I found out it was a flex face that had been installed in 1997. I ended up walking away from that one.

Two guys one bucket?

Or two bucket lifts? Bidding on a job to replace these polycarb panels, one on each side. Panels measure 82"w x 112"h. Does anyone transport big panels like this rolled up or do you keep them flat? Probably easiest to angle onto a flatbed trailer with side rails and tie them down. With tall...

Like Gettin'By said - talk them into a new sign frame. The chance of damaging some part of it trying to tighten up this old of a frame is quite likely. And remember, the last guy to touch it is responsible.
