The VPs are quite different from the SPs- 4 heads instead of 2 and faster.
The profiles do not cross over either. I used Wasatch on my SP300 and
upgraded to a full Roland version when I bought my VP540... has never
delivered the prints I expected. The ink looks mottled and I have atypical
banding issues- like alternating bands are slightly lighter/darker. I should
mention that I use and love Triangle inx and have an i1 for profiling
I finally tried Vworks with the canned profiles and get much better prints-
without the banding problems. I tried one quick shot at profiling within
VersaWorks and their procedure is confusing- I will try that again as time
allows. I am getting my ducks in a row to call Wasatch I guess. Thanks Gene
