Is Flexisign Pro difficult to learn?

to be frank, I was not really answering his questions honestly.

I was merely being as vague as he is in every single one of his posts

Learning Flexi

Centerville, learning Flexi is about the same as learning ANY software. It will take a few guided lessons and then when you get live projects you HAVE to learn! May I suggest an investment in my Flexi training DVD which has over 12 hours of video lessons? Or perhaps you can visit my online site, where you can pick out the lessons you want and pay as you go.

As far as Photoshop, YES add it to your list. From time to time you will find certain features handy.

I have many, many years of exp wrking in illy, signlab, corel, flexi, ps, learn something new all the time. Tutorials, guides, happy accidents, just re-reading the literature that came with the software every once in a while as a refresher, it takes all of that to keep you proficient.

So true - learning is contonuous

So true p fleming, it's like being a doctor, you gotta keep learning and keep up. It takes some book learning, some mentors and some hands on.

I totally agree, learning the software is continuous. I had learned Illustrator before I learned Flexi and it helped, but just like Mark said, you need to take a few courses, use it for some live jobs and play around with it in your spare time. I advocate for playing around with it the most because you can make some seriously weird stuff and get errors that may help you out in the long run. Photoshop is a must have also. Again, playing around with it helps you learn a little easier too.

Hope you've got some spare time on your hands!

It's better to have two hands than one glove.
The question "Is [insert software package of your choice here] easy/difficult to learn?" is often asked but never really well answered. In order to properly answer this it has to be determined exactly what is being asked.

Liken it to learning to write code in some assembler/compiler/interpreter computer language or another. Then ask the question "Do you know want you want to say and merely need to know how to say it or do you not know what to say as well?" Translated into graphics that would be "Do you know what you want to do and merely need to know how to do it or do you not know what to do as well?"

If the former it's no big deal to learn Yet Another package. Just start messing around with it/

If the latter then you're in for a long haul regardless of what package you're trying to master. But be of good cheer, once you know one, you pretty much know them all.
