Issue with SummaCut D75

Gateway

I'm having an issue with the SummaCut D75 I purchased
last month. Its actually quite frustrating...

Once I've loaded the media, I get an error message on the cutters LCD
screen that says "Right pinch roller is not set properly above a sleeve!
Raise the pinch rollers and set them correctly."

This would seem like an easy fix, however the problem is the fact that the
pinch rollers are both set properly above a sleeve.

Any tips or what I need to do to fix this?

Hi,

Jim, from SignWarehouse here (former Summarian). If it's pilot error, make sure the pinch roller is in the sweet spot. You can feel it click into place, if you move it slowly/gently. If it's an equipment error, something is haywire with the sensor. I'd advise you exercise the 90-day free replacement clause in the warranty.

On my Summa if the pinch roller is not in the what jim calls the sweet spot (a small hole drilled in the rail) I will get an error. Call them on Monday thier tech guys are very good.
