Job Batching Software

Hey all,

I have a software related question and was wondering if anyone has any insight into this topic. We are looking for a way to take all of our sign orders and divide them by material type to make nesting our jobs more efficient.

For example, 2 orders come in. Order 1 has signs on High Intensity and Diamond Grade reflective. Order 2 has signs on High Intensity and White Vinyl. I am looking for a program that has the capability of taking those 2 orders and giving me a list of all the High Intensity signs we need to print, line by line, even though they are coming from multiple orders. Is anyone using a software that has this capability? Any help if greatly appreciated.

Sounds like you're looking for workflow automation... You can go with something robust like Switch or Esko's Automation Engine. tFlow may be another option (I hate it TBH) but I'm not sure if it will separate/gang like you're talking about.
There is probably something similar and more budget oriented but I'm not sure what that is currently.

Do you have a budget?
Because what your asking could add up quite a bit.

We would do this in enfocus switch and Griffin. But you'll need to build the workflow from scratch.

You could also do this in Caldera as it has as it'll auto nest for each stock. You won't get your list though.
