Job nesting in Flexi 8.1v1 - Pulling my hair out!

Hi all,

I'm having trouble nesting jobs in Flexi 8.1v1 (Production Manager).

I send/hold the individual jobs to production manager. Select and nest them. They look great in the preview....Send them - They process but before printing I get an error message "not same data type".

What's up with this? I'm using the same resolution for each...Same machine...Flexi's help (.pdf file) was no help.

Anyone have a suggestion?

As far as I know each file once added must have the same settings IE:quality of print, diffusion, ICC profile etc. Size of image does not matter. I highlight the files I want nested (hold shift to add another and click on it) then in (file) nest the jobs. Most times it says there if files are not the same setup.

Can you see any difference in the files you select?

No...No difference. I ended up manually placing them together in Flexi - then printing them all together. Just wish I could figure out the nesting issue...Sure would save time.
