Key Banner 10oz.

We use Key Banner 10oz matte when we need light
vinyl.

Lately it's been coming in with dark blotches when you
hold it up to the light. Talk to Grimco about this & we tried
several different lots but the problem is still there.

Anyone have a source for good light matte vinyl we
can use on our HP Latex?

why not use 13oz, its like 8 dollars more a roll?

Have you tried the HP matte banner material? Seems kind of obvious...;P. There's also UltraFlex UltraBanner 10oz matte and UltraFlex profiles are available for the L25500.

For this application we need light stuff because it effects shipping cost to customer.

I've had pretty good luck with the Key Banner, for the price I love it.

I HARDLY buy 10oz, but you should try the 13oz, I've yet to get a bad roll yet and it's great for the application

are these spots from shipping or does it look like it's part of the roll that maybe was defective during manufacturing?

I will keep a closer eye on my stuff when I order it too

It's a mfg problem.

It looks ok on the table but it you hold it up to the light
you see the dark blotches running through it.

Does it affect the print area? I usually spot things like this in material I have ordered but maybe I am not looking close enough.

Do you have any pictures? I would love to see exactly what you are talking about.

I have some Key Banner 13oz on a 38" roll here and I have been seeing the same problem.
