Latex 1500 - Repeated Reseat/Reinsert Printhead Errors

Hey all,

I am at my wits' end with an issue I have been having with my Latex 1500 for the past month.

I am getting repeated ink dropouts and Reseat/Reinsert printhead errors. The errors are also indicating that there is too high a temperature detected on the printhead. I have replaced several printheads (some multiple times at the advice from a local tech) and can be operational again for a matter of hours before I get another error. The errors have jumped around to every printhead so far, with the Optimizer being the only one that hasn't errored. I have had two separate techs take a look at it. One of which was completely stumped, and the other was at about a 1/10 on the "give a you know what meter."

I have tried pretty much everything I can from my end, and not getting support from my local techs has made the situation even more frustrating.

Has anyone had anything like this in the past, and if so, were you able to fix it? I am not afraid to spend the $ for service and parts I just need this printer back up and running.

Could be a lot of things going on... I would check
- Weight of printhead, is there air inside
- How is the ink system looking, any leaks
- Fill intermediate tanks and check if air inside
- Scan axis chain, how is it doing. If high usage unit it tends to wear out
- Swap the printhead PCA's around and try to isolate the issue. Sometimes you feel like it's on all of them but in reality the replacement procedure just doesn't finish because of one head and you end up thinking it's another.

Check the wiper blade height.

From service menu do wiper blade calibration. The right four lines should be visible
