Learned a valuable (and expensive) lesson

We have a phase converter (American Rotary) in our building that takes Single Phase and steps it up to 3 phase.
I have had the unit for about 12 years and it has worked perfectly for the equipment we use it for.
I called my local electrician that I've used in the past and had him come in and hook it up to a new piece of equipment we bought.
He basically shorted out the converter board in the first 60 minutes of doing work on it and then just looked at it like it was something from outer space.
That's when I learned, after years in business, that there are 3 levels of electricians: Residential, Commercial and Industrial.
I always thought (foolishly) that a licensed electrician could do any type of electrical work, NOT the case!
So I went to the very large local electrical parts supply warehouse and asked them for 3 Industrial Electrician references and he gave them to me in 2 minutes.

The cost of using the first guy just because he was available right away far exceeded any cost in using the correct level electrician.
Even at my age I am still paying for my education. Lesson learned. I paid for this lesson and if you didn't already know it, now you know it.
