if anybody has a Fotoba of any type or size they're looking to get rid of, i'd love to know. The things are damn hard to get ahold of--
I have an extra Digitrim 62, but it needs 2 new optical sensors. (works fine if the Digitrim marks are large enough, but inconsistent on reading smaller marks) I got a quote for new sensors back in 2019. $1,533/ea. (ouch) Now I've got an XLD170 so I have no need for the Digitrim. Is it worth buying sensors and/or selling? Not sure, but it would probably run like new with replacement sensors.
Also worth mentioning -- many of the older units are likely to have similar issues because sensors don't last forever. Whichever machine you find, make sure to have the seller show you current video to demonstrate how reliable the mark reading is, not just a one off, but a long set of repeating marks. See how many it misses.
