I'm looking for a sign supply that might sell the paint (white) for the Lexan sign pans. I used it years ago and recently have a customer that wants to have a couple sign faces done over. The pans are all stripped and cleaned of the old paint.
Any help would be appreciated.
Fusion paint by Krylon. (Specifically for plastics) Comes in spray bombs, not sure if you can get it in a can.
Cheers!
Ken
BTW...what do you use tp strip paint off those old panfaced signs?
Will volatile paint strippers cause damge to the plexi or lexan?
Thanks.
Ken
Believe it or not...Straight Clorox and let it sit. Make sure to do it outside though.
This works on the older painted ones. not sure about the new sign faces.
Ihave used de-natured alchol on lexan faces with a great degree of success. I lay some news print on the lexan and pour on the de-natured alchol and let it soak for a few minutes, and then rub it off.
Pioneer Supply in Pittsburgh sells Grip-Flex. http://www.pioneersupply.com/
You have to use their thinner & stuff, spray on 12 mist coats etc.
but you probably already know that part.
Love....Jill
