Pretty cool! Will be neat if they start making even larger versions for larger desktop monitors. I have a dedicated RIP PC and we have the monitor wall mounted and just has Flexi Production Manager running full screen with a touch capable monitor we have. We can walk up select the cut or print job that is holding and send it which is nice. Still not perfect though because Production Manager was not designed for touch screen use so the jobs are pretty small lines and its not very easy to select the right one. I've experimented with increasing font sizes in
Windows and lowering the display resolution which makes everything larger which does help some but still not ideal. The lower resolution makes the screen not running in its native resolution so everything does not look as good and with everything larger the result is not as much can be shown on screen at once meaning you have to scroll a lot more....
We are an all PC shop so I'm also surprised and happy to see that a new
computer technology is being developed first for PC..... seems like the past 10 years everything is initially developed for Mac's which I've never understood since they are such a small percentage of the overall market. I guess the main reason has been that they can charge Mac users a higher price...
