Mutoh Printing on 24pt carolina stock

I read in a sign publication about someone printing on 24 pt Carolina stock for a POP. Has any tried? any ICC profile suggestions?

Typically these coating are for aqueous ink sets and do not let the eco inks dry or absorb ink properly.

I've tried a lot of sheet stocks. No luck.

Sihl TriSolv. i just started printing on some and have had good results. They are for one of my graphic design customers and I have no problem delivering them. TriSolv 200 I believe. Your distributor should have a sample pack for you to choose the weight you want..

I tried my catchall 'standard' profile and had great success so I didn't change anything. I think it is an Arlon profile for Flexi. Using a Falcon II Outdoor.

Does this material die cut well through the Graphtec Plotter? Or do the edges where the die cut is made fray?

Didn't try it. I was printing posters so I trimmed them manually. It doesn't have a backing so I'm not sure die cutting is possible. Might be able to perf cut it...
